For a fully insured Ice Dam Removal company the hourly rate ranges between $350 per hour and $550 per hour. If you hire a company for $200 per hour be sure they have insurance incase of damages to your roof or injury. Remember, we are standing on top of your icy sloped roof in the middle of winter.

This is a hard to determine. There is many factors to this. Weather, if it warmer out the Ice gets removed much faster. Length of hose, the more hose that is needed to reach the ice the less hot it becomes. For example, our machine operates at 400 degrees. If you add on a 100 foot hose to reach the ice now by the time the steam is at the end of the hose it may be 350 degrees. Lastly how far up the roof the ice may go. Ice can range from 2' up the roof to 15'. The more ice, the longer it takes. Before during and after photos are taken during the entire process.
Yes. Once water starts leaking into your home most insurance companies will cover the cost to removed the ice off of your roof. In this case you must check with your insurance company.
